Street Lamp

This is an
Awesome Photo of a Street Lamp
that was actually lit by sunlight. Taken in Downtown Houston TX.

I added a nice "texture" in the digital image that makes it look like a heavily painted oil canvas. Very nice addition to any home!

Back AGAIN!

Getting on board with my blog again! We moved to Santa Fe TX and now we seem abit settled. I started creating jewelry and posting some of my commercial stock on my etsy shop! http://www.moonscapedesign.etsy.com
Take a look at all I have done so far! I use semi-precious stones in most of my work like pearls, prehnite, lapis, peridot, well - the list goes on! I also have some unique photos for sale too. Check out my Longhorn and the photo of an alley in New Orleans!

Leave me a comment or two, let me know you were here!

I'm Back

I haven't blogged for quite a while. I Havent done any portraits either. But I am back. Hopefully I will have some time now to get creative again. 2 years ago my son got into quite a bad car accident and I lost my crative touch. Got out of the mood so to speak and a year later portraits just did not seem like fun any more.

Since then I got a new job (laid of from my previous one, (web designer) , lost that one, layed off again! UG - but hopefully I will find another one soon. In the meantime I am going to get back to shooting again.

I will probably shoot creative from this point on in my life. I feel the wedding and portrait world just don't have the artistic appeal for me any more. I am going to shoot what I want from now on. And - maybe sell a few along the way - but just do it for my enjoyment now.

I love all of my customers and enjoyed doing work for each of them. I will miss them and remember - If you need to order photos from any of your sessions - you still can. Just let me know, I'll be here!

About Images on the Web

I know many of you realize this but I just wanted to make a point. Many times we view photographs on the web thinking they are not very good. But what some may not know is that images posted on the web are very small renditions of the original. They have been manipulated to "fit" on a web page. In other words, some of the image is missing, and degrated so that you can see them quickly and efficiantly. This is because it would take too long for the web browser to load if you had the full image there.

My images are all printed on REAL photo paper using the Liquid process, not ink jet prints that are popular today. I send them to a professional lab - and they provide me with extremely high quality photographs. This is what I do for my customers. I do this because I want to ensure that you recieve the best that is available and that provides a value to you for your investment.

If you are unsure of how your portraits will look after previewing them on the web ( I provide web previews at no additional cost with the sitting fee) then please order the additional Proof portfolio. You'll be glad you did - even though the proofs on the portfolio are small by comparison - they are of the finest quality and will show you just how beautiful your final product can be!
